Make check or money order payable to Belfast Adult & Community Education. Upon completion of registration and payment, you are enrolled. No confirmation will be sent.

 

Registration Information & Printable Registration Form:

The Adult Education Program offers three semesters of classes during fall, spring, and summer. The fall semester begins in early September. The spring semester begins in early January and the summer semester begins in early July. Please call the office (207-338-3197) at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester you wish to enroll in classes. Students enrolling in the High School Diploma, GED, or ABE Programs may contact the office anytime of the year. The Adult Education Program follows the MSAD #34 school calendar. Therefore, the office is closed during holidays, school breaks and on snow days. Many courses fill quickly.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
All course registrations and fees must be received in the BACE office PRIOR to the first class session. Registrations may be submitted via mail, fax, or hand delivery. Payment may be made in the form of cash or check for the full amount unless special arrangements have been made with the Director. Payment by check is preferred for security reasons. DO NOT send cash through the mail. Learners sixty-five (65) and older as well as district employees will have registration fees waived; materials and laboratory fees will be assessed. All registrations must include date of birth and social security number.All high school diploma and GED tutorial courses are free to learners formally enrolled in the high school completion program through Belfast Adult & Community Education.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds for enrollment registration fees, cost of materials fees and laboratory usage fees shall be made to registrants whenever the Director cancels a course or activity. Refunds for enrollment registration fees shall be made to an individual registrant ONLY when enrollment is cancelled prior to the start of the first course session. Refunds for cost of materials fees shall be made to an individual registrant ONLY when the enrollment is cancelled prior to the start of the first course session and materials have not been ordered. Refunds for laboratory usage fees shall be made to an individual registrant ONLY when the enrollment is cancelled prior to the start of the first course session.In general partial refunds shall not be made. The exception shall be if the structure of the course is altered without unanimous approval of all enrolled. Should such an alteration require that a student cannot continue in the class, refunds may be made on a pro-rated basis.
